'Traditional' Acupuncture

What does 'Traditional' Acupuncture help with?
...and why is it in 'quotes'?

Traditional East Asian Medicine is incredible. Thousands of years ago, people realized healing strategies and passed them down through lineages. Today, more and more rigorous scientific research is being funded to understand how it works, and why it works.

I am proud to be a professional member of the Society for Acupuncture Research - a group of PhDs and MDs who advocate for robust research in acupuncture and TEAM fields. More universities and funding partners than ever are linking ancient traditions with modern scientific research.

I am grateful to have learned the traditions of Chinese and East Asian medicine, and I will continue to consult the latest research. I won't do something just because it's always been done.

Sublime Cupping and
Gua Sha

Known more recently as for its benefits to facial rejuvination, gua sha can be used to release tight muscles and promote circulation. The experience of cupping can be described as a 'reverse massage' and is suprisingly relaxing.
